A missed call is often a lost customer. We combine several tools so your calls always find someone, whether your team is in the office, on the road, busy or cut off by a network outage.
Softphones to answer from anywhere
The softphone for computers and the mobile app turn any device into a desk phone, using your business number. When you are away from your desk, the call follows you: at the office, at home or while travelling (see remote work and working from abroad).
Failover number during an outage
An internet or power outage at the office should not make you miss a call. If your devices can no longer be reached over the network, your calls are routed to the cellphones you have chosen, such as the owner’s, the manager’s or the on-call team’s.
- No change for your customers: they dial the usual business number.
- Nothing to do in the moment: the rerouting is set up ahead of time, with no need to reach the console during the outage.
- Good to know: calls routed to a cellphone travel over the mobile network, not through your phone system, so features that depend on your devices (such as programmable keys) are not available then.
More ways to limit missed calls
- Ring several devices: call forwarding and call following ring the desk phone, the softphone and a cellphone, or a number of your choice.
- Emergency calls (on-call line): after hours, the platform calls the people on your list in turn. See the phone system.
- Schedules and greetings: set business hours and route calls by time of day, day of the week or team.
- Handle peak periods: for teams that take many calls, queues, overflow calls and the virtual line (call back in turn) keep callers from being lost. See call centres.
- Voicemail that does not get lost: messages are transcribed and emailed with the recording.
- Reach the customer another way: reply or call back by SMS from your business number.
We set it up with you
Every business has its own risks: a clinic, a garage and a law firm do not have the same needs. We help you choose the right strategies and test them during onboarding.
