Getting started

How long does it take to be ready?

As little as 1 business day with a new number, and as little as 3 business days if you port your current number*. See how it works.

* Shortest possible timelines, if everything goes well: porting goes smoothly with your current provider, a copy of its latest invoice is supplied, the address provided is accurate, and your business is easy to verify and credible.

Can I keep my phone number?

Yes. We submit the transfer (porting) request to your current provider: a copy of that provider’s latest invoice is required. A copy of that provider’s latest invoice is required, and a signed authorization may be too. Transfer times also depend on third parties, so they cannot be guaranteed. This also applies to toll-free numbers (1-800 and other toll-free prefixes), which we can also provide.

What do I need to get started?

A computer or a cell phone, and an Internet connection: softphones turn either one into a business phone. Desk phones are optional.

Can my current desk phones be used?

Our platform supports several SIP desk phones. Tell us which devices you have and we will check together.

How much does it cost?

The price depends on the number of users and the features you choose. Request a quote: we can also compare it with your current bill. Preferential rates are offered to non-profit organizations.

Using the service

Can I send SMS from the same number as my calls?

Yes: SMS and MMS messaging works on the same business number as your calls, for a consistent image. See SMS and MMS.

Can I record my calls?

Yes. You may keep your recordings free of charge for up to 6 months, or up to 5 years on request. Call recording is subject to legal obligations, including consent.

Can I manage the system myself?

Yes. Your company’s administrator manages users, numbers, schedules and menus in the web console. Our team supports you when needed.

Is the service available in French and English?

Yes, the website, the console and the virtual receptionist’s messages can be in French and in English. Technical support is also available in French and in English.

Reliability and security

What happens if my Internet goes down?

Your calls can be forwarded to a cell phone or another number, and your employees can answer from their cell phones with the mobile softphone. See remote work and working from abroad.

How available is the service?

Our availability target is 99.9%. It covers the availability of our services: a power or Internet outage at the customer’s site, for example, is not part of it. For more details, you must refer to your contract.

Where is my data hosted?

In Canada, mainly in Montréal. However, we cannot guarantee that it is always hosted in Montréal or in Québec. Upon prior notice, for certain extraordinary features, data may be processed outside Canada where such processing is not available in Canada. See security and reliability.

How is my personal information protected?

See our privacy policy and our page on Bill 25 compliance.

Support and partners

How do I reach technical support?
